puppet shadows
caress the wall
mock the moment, flickers
of turned backs
whisper a silent story

as snowflakes blanket
naked limbs,
wounded words
twist in the air
the wick burns bare

    Nice work. I took time this afternoon to read back and I found the lines on Random Words extraordinary. Are you considering putting your work in a chap book, self-publishing a poetry volume, etc. ????

    Bookie - Wow, thank you, I'm stunned by what you ask me. Honestly, I'm not a poet. Embarrassed to admit I don't know what a chapbook is! I'm working on a fiction piece, very slowly, and started this blog as a creative playground. I think what's happening is that I get tired so when I start to work on a writing prompt I forget how to make complete sentences and contrive an ending!:)
